Night Light presents a series of classic and contemporary cult films from around the world. -------------------------------------------------------------- Director Robert Rodriguez picks up where his successful independent debut El Mariachi left off with this slam-bang South of the Border action saga. Bucho (Joaquim DeAlmeida) is a wealthy but casually bloodthirsty drug kingpin who rules a seedy Mexican border town. Bucho and his men make the mistake of angering El Mariachi (Antonio Banderas), a former musician who now carries an arsenal in his guitar case. Bucho was responsible for the death of El Mariachi's girlfriend and put a bullet through his fretting hand, making him unable to play the guitar. Bent on revenge, the musician-turned-killing machine arrives in town to put Bucho out of business, though he finds few allies except for Carolina (Salma Hayek), who runs a bookstore that doesn't seem to attract many readers. Desperado features supporting performances from Cheech Marin as a cynical bartender, Steve Buscemi as the cantina patron who sets up the story, and Quentin Tarantino as a man with a really terrible joke to tell. 1995/USA & Mexico/Directed by Robert Rodriguez

Aided by the sorcerer Merlin (Nicol Williamson), Arthur fulfills his fate by bringing together the Knights of the Round Table at Camelot and unifying the country. Night of the Living Dead (1990)

Director’s Cut – Featuring Uncut Gore Footage The dead walk. Society collapses. And humanity proves once again it was the real problem all along. When the recently deceased begin rising with an appetite for human flesh, a group of strangers barricade themselves inside a farmhouse, desperately trying to survive the night. Tensions rise, tempers flare, and survival becomes just as much about fighting each other as it is fighting the creatures trying to claw their way inside. Directed by Tom Savini, this 1990 remake of NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD brings Romero’s classic back to life with modern effects, sharper social commentary, and a grimmer, bloodier edge. This Director’s Cut restores previously unseen gore footage, making an already brutal film even more relentless. It’s bleak, it’s savage, and it pulls no punches - proof that the end of the world is loud, messy, and absolutely unforgiving.
