Co-op Membership

Annual dues are $60 ($64.20 after sales tax). Partizanfilm members pay a reduced price for admission, saving $2.50 per ticket. Our non-member prices are $12 in the evening, $8.50 for a weekend matinee, and $7.50 for a weekday matinee.

But membership is about more than just receiving a discount. The members run Partizanfilm.

They will elect the next board of directors and weigh in on cinema operations directly at our annual meeting. Our democratic structure, as constituted in our bylaws, resembles that of a consumer co-op, familiar to anybody who shops at one of Vermont’s several community-owned grocery stores. But as a nonstock corporation, Partizanfilm is technically controlled (rather than owned) by its members — nonprofits do not legally have owners. For this reason, we cannot issue a patronage dividend: all revenue will support operations.

We will hold our first election in 2026. As a member, you’ll have a chance to run! You’ll also have access to our optional member work program.

Smaller perks include a free popcorn on your birthday and free refills on drip coffee whenever you want. Your membership will last a full year before requiring renewal.

We’ve aimed to price the membership affordably. As a 501(c)(3), we also gratefully accept donations (click the "Donate" link on our main page).
